A service-disabled veteran-owned small business, founded and led by a scientist and retired Marine officer.
Chesuncook Technical Solutions, LLC was founded by Geoffrey L. Doyle, PhD, after more than 30 years leading teams in science and engineering research, operations and product delivery across the private and government sectors. That work showed him how often research programs lose time waiting on the goods and support they need.
As a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based in Augusta, Maine, we bring a Marine’s discipline and a scientist’s understanding to every request.
“To provide your research organization with the goods and services it requires, fast.”

Chesuncook (chih-SUN-kuuk)
The name “Chesuncook” is derived from the Penobscot language, meaning “place where many waters flow in” or “at the big lake place.”
Chesuncook (/tʃɪˈsʌnkʊk/, chih-SUN-kuuk) is a small unincorporated settlement on the northwestern shore of Chesuncook Lake in rural central Piscataquis County, Maine. A small village, originally supporting logging operations in the area, has existed here since at least the time of Henry David Thoreau, who wrote about it in The Maine Woods.
On April 16, 1999, Governor Angus S. King Jr. signed LD 592 into law, officially designating the Chesuncook soil series as Maine’s state soil. It reflects the character of Maine’s landscape, especially the boreal forest regions of northern and western Maine.
“Chesuncook Technical Solutions is deeply rooted in the soil, water, and history of Maine, drawing on the state’s rugged landscapes, enduring traditions, and strong sense of place to deliver solutions grounded in my personal experience, integrity, and a lasting commitment to my fellow warfighters.”
